Nate is the founder of Remnant Outdoor Co., a brand dedicated to grit, tradition, and keeping the wilderness alive. He served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan, where he also taught wilderness survival to fellow Marines. After separating from the Corps, Nate continued to train Marines while sharpening his ability to teach under pressure.

For the past eight years, Nate has devoted himself to wilderness survival and the development of cutting-edge survival tools, blending time-tested techniques with modern innovation. His mission is simple: to pass down the hard-earned skills and knowledge that allow people not just to survive, but to thrive in the wild.

At Remnant Outdoor Co., Nate combines real-world experience, military-tested grit, and a lifelong respect for the outdoors to help others master the skills of self-reliance and endurance.

Nate is a husband, father and homeschool principal to 4. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, hunting and fishing in his spare time.
